I asked the Lord this question:
Lord, is it permissible for a Christian couple to use condoms?
And he spoke to me and said:
It is not glorifying to me.
I then heard these words: Taking control of the reproductive system.
I said, “Lord, tell me more?”
And he said, “It is not my design.”
I then heard the word: Procreate.
We are told in the Bible to glorify God in whatever we do.
By using condoms you are taking control of the reproductive system. The Lord did not design a man and a woman to come together with something designed by man. God said to Adam and Eve, and Noah and his sons to be fruitful and multiply. Nowhere in the Bible do we read that God has told us to use man made devices to prevent pregnancy.
We have to understand that the Lord is in control of reproduction as The Bible tells us many times it is the Lord that opens and closes the womb. As Christians we need to trust the Lord with his design and his way of doing things and not lean on our own understanding. After all His ways are higher than our ways.
