I asked the Lord for a word for the Body of Christ and I heard, “Complacency is sin.”
I then said to him, “Lord, why did I hear that?”
He replied, “That is the state of my people.”
And he said, “Tell them.”
I looked up the word complacency and found this bible verse:
Proverbs 1:32-33 NKJV
For the turning away of the simple will slay them, And the complacency of fools will destroy them; [33] But whoever listens to me will dwell safely, And will be secure, without fear of evil.”
I asked, “Lord, can you tell me more about how your people are complacent?”
And I heard, “They seek their own will. They do not desire to be one with me.”
“Lord, what should they do?”
“Seek me with all their hearts. That is the only way. Your heart cannot be divided. You must seek me first.”
Hosea 10:2 NKJV
Their heart is divided; Now they are held guilty. He will break down their altars; He will ruin their sacred pillars.
1 Corinthians 6:17 NKJV
But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
